1. We gained 1 new member last month:
We have gained 1 new members during February.

Claire Tomlinson – Is a past student at the UK Wildlife Film School (Attending a course in 2014) and recently joined the WFN after contacting us via Facebook. She has a very varied history working as a wildlife photographer, filmmaker, artist and educator with a passion for conservation; and is currently collaborating with a small team to produce an independent documentary about orcas in Scotland, acting as 1st assistant director whilst co-writing the script.
Claire is also spending her time undertaking a remote internship with https://mosquitomedia.co/ working as script writer and video editor for various wildlife films. In addition, I am collaborating with the Mosquito Media team on a short film about Madagascar.
Check out her profile page, it’s very impressive.

Again I would like to ask you to encourage everyone you know or work with to join the Wildlife Film Network as a member!

2. We are still looking for a location to hold our WFN Face-to-Face meeting in April
…Sadly, we have not had a single email from any of our UK WFN members suggesting a location in which they would like us to hold our second quarterly face-to-face network meeting of 2023 on Saturday 15th of April. So I am extending the time you have to let me know by a week until the (Just in case you missed the notice in the last newsletter) and would like to suggest a location.
Again, if we do not hear from anyone, we will not hold a meeting.

Our Second quarterly face-to-face network meeting of 2023 on Saturday 22nd July. As I am running a wildlife film course for the whole of August.

Again, we are looking for suggestions of where you would like us to hold our face-to-face meeting in July.
Thank you.
